Sales Department

The Sales Department operates in the field of trading hard coal delivered outside Poland and on the domestic market. In addition to coal trade, the Department carries out reloading, transport, storage, inspection and measurement services for the needs of WĘGLOKOKS S.A., companies belonging to the WĘGLOKOKS Capital Group and external customers.

The Sales Department includes:

  • Export Department,
  • Domestic Sales Department,
  • Purchasing Department,
  • Logistics Department.

 

 

Activities of the Sales Department

in terms of coal trade include:

  • Comprehensive organization of domestic and imported coal purchases,
  • Sale of Polish coal on foreign markets. In its commercial offer WĘGLOKOKS S.A.has a wide range of coal produced by Polish mines owned by PGG S.A., JSW S.A.and WĘGLOKOKS Kraj Sp.z o.o. Coal from Poland is delivered primarily to recipients in the neighboring countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany) as well as to Austria and Hungary,
  • Sale of Polish and imported coal on the domestic market,
  • Trade – sale of imported coal to foreign recipients.

 

For the delivery of coal for export WĘGLOKOKS S.A. uses the agency -forwarding services of foreign companies belonging to the Capital Group:

  • Poland uhli, a.s. – with head office in Ostrava – Czech Republic,
  • Polkarbon GmbH- with head office in Vienna – Austria.

 

 

Logistics Department

 

through its separate quality control unit, it comprehensively supervises the quality of goods offered by WĘGLOKOKS S.A. (setting quality conditions for deliveries, cooperation with independent laboratories, conducting quality settlements).
