The WĘGLOKOKS Group and the FERRUM Group have signed a framework agreement, based on which WĘGLOKOKS S.A. will provide FERRUM with raw material required in the production of pipes. By virtue of the combined demand of the FERRUM Group's plants and WĘGLOKOKS-controlled steelworks, the material will be purchased on conditions benefiting both partners.


Under the framework agreement, the quarterly turnover between WĘGLOKOKS and FERRUM will include over 9k tonnes of the raw material, worth €10M. With a product portfolio unrivalled in the Polish market, the FERRUM Group is Poland's largest manufacturer of steel pipes, whose wide-ranging applications include utility transmission.


The company specialises in the production of steel seam pipes and hollow structural sections. The Group employs nearly 450 people. FERRUM S.A., its parent undertaking, has been listed in the GPW's Main List since 1997.
